wearonize and BrilliantTS close partnership for enablement of payment devices from BrilliantTS and market entry in Europe & USA

Lucerne, November 22, 2021 – The Swiss startup wearonize AG has once again secured international cooperation for future-oriented, mobile payment solutions: wearonize now enables the South Korean payment technology company BrilliantTS to tokenize consumer payment cards for the BrilliantTS innovation “Fuze Card”. In addition, with access to the wearonize banking network and the wearonize portfolio of services, BrilliantTS has an open path to the European and U.S. markets.

Through this partnership, which was signed on November 9, 2021, wearonize AG, the world’s leading “fulfillment-as-a-service” provider for wearable payment solutions (for producers and banks), also enters the Asian market. BrilliantTS will entrust the Lucerne, Switzerland-based FinTech with the technical implementation of tokenization (virtualization) of various payment cards on the “Fuze Card” – a BrilliantTS innovation, and the first card to combine multiple payment cards of a consumer (credit, debit and loyalty cards,) and secure storage features such as cryptocurrency HW wallet, OTP and password manager on one device.

In addition to entry into the European market, BrilliantTS gains access to the wearonize banking network, which, with more than 65 banking institutions, is the largest network of banks and card issuers in Europe. The European launch is scheduled for Q1 2022, with the roll-out in the U.S. planned for later in the year.
