There will be something very special at the Swiss Federal Wrestling and Alpine Festival this year: Visitors can pay with a payment wristband during the festival. This eliminates the need to carry cash, EC cards and admission tickets. BLKB is making sure of this together with the Swiss startup wearonize, which is providing the payment wristband – the so-called wearable.

Among all those who purchase the wearable by the ESAF, BLKB and wearonize will be giving away 50 x 50 euro budget on the payment wristband as well as 2 tickets for the Schwingfest. So it’s worth taking part!

And this is how it works: The payment wearable can be purchased from mid-May in participating BLKB branches or conveniently in the BLKB online store. You can then download the appropriate app, which you can connect to a payment method of your choice (credit card, EC card) and your wearable. Now you can use the wristband for payment.

The aesthetic wearable, which is made of vegan apple leather, incorporates wearonize’s smart technology: the startup works with a multi-certified chip solution that not only ensures smooth functioning of the payment process, but also offers the highest level of security. With this, wearonize still has big plans: In the future, in addition to the payment function, the wearable will also be used to manage ID cards, admission tickets, health certificates and much more – making the festival experience even less complicated for visitors.
